Weddings

Idwala Estates offers every couple the opportunity to enter into a life long partnership in the quiet surroundings of the Shongweni Valley.

The country venue lends itself to a country style wedding. From the quaint traditional "Clock Tower" Chapel, the lovely gardens to the superb cuisine and service that is offered.

For the ceremony, the chapel offers its own uniqueness. The walls are clad with stone, he sun filters through the stained glass windows. Alternatively, the ceremony can be held outdoors in the gardens or on the island of the swimming pool.

The Honeymoon Suite is available for the couple that does not wish to travel after the Reception.

The restaurant is fully licensed, and caters for individual needs and taste.

Conferencing

The Conference Centre is ideal for Conferences as well as Indabas, Celebrations, Prize Giving, End Year Functions and Ceremonies.

The Conference Centre is beautifully planned with exquisite gardens, on suite bathrooms and a fully equipped office with telephone, fax and computer facilities.

Specific to the Conference Centre is a large kitchen with adjoining dining area and patio.  We also offer an entertainment bar complete with stage overlooking a sparkling swimming pool.

To accommodate Team Building we have a 4x4 track and a group of experts ready to tailor make a package to suit your specific needs.

Should you wish to have a more informal Conference, we offer a new concept called Lounge Conferencing, whereby you sit on large comfortable couches and conduct your conference in a lounge environment (This is very popular internationally).

With a combination of dedicated staff and superb surroundings, we guarantee a memorable event.
